The Hammered Mint Julep Recipe
- 1.5 teaspoons Demerara sugar
- 7 mint leaves or so
- 2.5 ounces bourbon
- ½ cup crushed ice (it’s hammer time!)
- ¼ cup club soda
Gently muddle sugar with mint leaves. Mix in bourbon and let it percolate for five minutes. Add crushed ice and top with club soda. Garnish with mint, if you’re feeling fancy. Cheers!
